Who processes the data?
REC Eventi di Andrea Matteo Bassi, Via Dumas 12, 42123 Reggio Emilia, Italy, VAT number 02472790357, operates CastVent. It is controller for accounts, service provision and its own activities, and processes selection data on behalf of agencies under the data-processing agreement. Each agency is controller for its selection and assignments: it determines purposes, necessary data, recipients and retention. It must provide its own notice and manage downloaded or client-shared copies too.
Find the right document
The portal has separate applicant information and terms, and agency information, terms and the Article 28 processing agreement. This commercial website has its own privacy notice and cookie policy. Registered users can manage account consent choices in Settings → Privacy and consents.
Applications are separate from marketing
Acknowledging the notice and accepting service terms is not blanket consent to any use. The two optional marketing choices concern REC Eventi communications and sharing name and email with recipients identified in the notice. They do not authorise promotional publication of photos, CVs or videos. Consent can be withdrawn without losing the account.
Online interviews and recording
Information is shown before joining. Recording is a separate choice: applicants can participate without recording and stop recording during the call. The agency must ensure refusal does not harm the application. The recording contains the applicant’s video and both voices, never the interviewer’s video. It and the interview notes remain private to the agency. We do not use AI to assess faces, emotions, CVs or performance.
Retention needs a reason
The duration or criteria must be justified by the purpose. The portal allows automatic recording expiry from 30 days or no automatic expiry. The latter does not authorise indefinite retention: the agency must review necessity and delete what is no longer needed, even without an applicant request. The technical 30-day minimum is not a GDPR-imposed retention term. The setting is communicated before the recording choice. Requests can be sent to the agency or info@castvent.it. Backups follow a separate technical cycle; instant erasure from every copy is not promised.
Access and responsibility
Agency areas and materials use authentication and authorisation checks. The operator may access data for support, maintenance, security and request handling, with operational logging provided in the portal. Technical access does not authorise promotional reuse. Software measures do not replace each organisation’s procedures and duties.
Exercise your rights
For access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, objection or withdrawal, contact info@castvent.it. Identify the account email and, where relevant, agency and casting code; never send passwords. Proportionate identity verification may be needed. Replies follow GDPR deadlines, normally one month; justified extensions are communicated. You may complain to the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
